Default Autoreplace old file format in word 2007 conversion

Hi, Wally,

I assume you've noticed the Convert command in the Office menu in Word.
However, it might not be clear that it is actually doing what you want:

1. Open a .doc file.

2. Choose Office - Convert, and confirm when/if prompted. At this point,
the name still appears to be .doc. But, wait...

3. Save the file (don't Save As), e.g. by pressing Ctrl+S or clicking the
save tool on the QAT (if it's showing).

After step 3, the extension changes to .docx in the title bar, and the .doc
file is history. Check the folder -- it's gone!

When converting to word 2007 format can we have the original file
automatically replaced the same way excel 2007 does, or are we stuck with
having to save a new file and manually delete the old format file?

Thanks
