Default How do I center a table on a page

Thank you Suzanne. I'll give it a try later tonight and post the results. I
figured it had to be some esoteric setting deep inside the properties or
options. What drives me bonkers is that the software offers no suggestion
why the table appears to stand still, and the built-in help offers only
boilerplate instructions. I never set an indent, so I would never think to
look there. I use Word to format my HTML docs and ultimately I end up in
Notepad because at least I can see the code....Otherwise it's like driving
with your eyes closed. I'll rate your post once I know if it worked, but I
really do appreciate the response.

I've selected the table and used the Center feature. I've also used

Center
alignment under table properties. The table refuses to move to the

center.
It will only move to the right or left alignment. No error message or

other
indication of a problem -- the software simply doesn't do what it's

supposed
to do. No text or space appears around the table so nothing is blocking

it.
This is the stuff that makes peoples' heads explode! ha ha
