Default I DON'T want to use outline view

Well I spent the past hour typing fine and it started happening again. At
this point I'm getting frustrated. The settings are still unchecked and I
have changed nothing in the past hour.... ugh.....

Actually I think I figured it out. I went into tools/auto format
options/auto format/and UNCHECKED "built-in heading styles". I already had
the same thing UNCHECKED under "auto format as you type" but I guess the
other "uncheck" did the trick. That seems to be the only thing I changed
today and it's working just fine now (knock on wood).

Not sure what is occuring here, but one place to check to see if anything has
inadvertently happened:
Customise Toolbars, Commands, Keyboard, Categories - View, Commands
-ViewOutline, the Current Keys (ie shortkey) should be Alt+Ctrl+O.
If it is anything else, that could be the problem.

Maybe someone else may know of a bug or other issue that can affect this.

Best of luck

but whenever I start typing in print view it automatically switches to
outline view. I have always worked in print view and I have no idea what I
did to change this. It's severely slowing me down at work - help!!!!!
