Default How do I change the background of a business card template?

Sorry if it wasn't clear. I figured since I was talking about Word, a user
attempting to help me would launch Word and try the Business Card templates.
I didn't actually use the download link from a browser, but I found it later
in order to cement the fact that it indeed was a Word template.

Again, sorry, if I wasn't clear: When I say "change the background" I mean I
want to change the image, not edit it in Photoshop, or something of that
effect.

Thanks for the list of steps on how to edit the images. But (based on your
list), I've found a slightly more efficient way of doing it. Either way,
still not the poster child for intuitiveness.

So, for anyone who may be attempting to do what I was:

Select the Home tab.
Go to the Editing group, select the dropdown arrow by the Select field.
Choose "Select Objects"
Ctrl+click additional images as needed.
At the very top of the document in the drag bar, a "Picture Tools" tab will
appear above the Format tab. Click it.
In the Adjust group, select "Change Picture."
Select a picture, and hit OK. Done.

Including that link in your original question would have been helpful.
When I went to http://office.microsoft.com , clicked on the Templates
tab, and searched for "fourth coffee business card", I only saw
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...316731033.aspx which is
an Outlook 2007 template.

The background in your template is a picture formatted as "behind text".
There isn't much you can do to a picture in Word because Word is not a
graphics editor. So when you say "can't figure out how to change the
background", I'm guessing you can't figure out how to put a different
picture in there? To do that, first you need to add the "Select Drawing
Objects" tool from the "Commands Not In The Ribbon" group to your Quick
Access Toolbar. Then click once on the Select Drawing Objects tool to
activate it, use the cursor to draw a big box around the eight
background pictures in the business card template to select the
pictures, press the Delete key to delete the selected pictures, and
click on the Select Drawing Objects tool to turn it off. Then insert
the picture you want, format it as "behind text", and Ctrl+drag to
replicate.

Strange, why is it listed in Word, then?

New - Microsoft Office Online - Business cards - Business card for small
business. Opens fine in Word, and you edit all the text fields, but I just
can't figure out how to change the background. Here's a link straight to the
template, where it is flagged as a Word template.

This newsgroup is for questions about Microsoft Word. You downloaded an
Outlook 2007 template, which you cannot use in Word 2007.

This seems incredibly unintuitive. I've downloaded the "Fourth Coffee"
business card template from Microsoft, and I can't figure out how to change
the background.
