Ctrl+Alt+U deletes all borders and shading applied to the table.

If you want to remove specific borders (and/or shading), select the cells
and use the Borders and Shading dialog box. To display the dialog box:

- Format | Borders and Shading (Word 97-2003).

- On the Table Tools Design tab, click Borders, and then click Borders and
Shading (Word 2007).
