Count individual word repition
Glad I could help. That option, when it was added a couple of versions back,
was completely unheralded, and I don't suppose I would ever have discovered
it if someone here hadn't mentioned it. It's one of the lesser-known and
underappreciated Word features.

Thank you Suzanne. I had to fiddle with it a bit (probably because I am
using Office 2007), but it works great. Just what I needed, and so simple
when you know how! As an author this will save me a great deal of work,
very
many thanks once again.

In the Find dialog, check the box for "Highlight all items found" and
then
click Find All. Word will select (highlight) all the occurrences and tell
you how many there are.

I would really like to be able to highlight a word in a large document
and
find out how many times I have repeated that particular word. Anyone
know
if
this is possible, without doing some replacement 'replace' routine?
