WORD 2003 ERROR MUST CLOSE MESSAGE
Do you have enough free space on your hard drive? I recently
discovered more than 3 Gb of Temp and Backup Word files in a folder
called "Work" on my old hard drive, which is now an external hard
drive partly because of this undetected logjam, and I haven't had that
message since.

I have MS Office Small Business 2003 and since the middle of December I'll be
typing and at any given time (and often several times) I will recieve this
message:
Microsoft Word has encountered an error and must close. *We apologize for
this inconvenience.
Well, when it "closes" it does an automatic recovery of what I had
previously typed...most of the time. *Sometimes I lose information and have
to go back. *
I have removed MSO SB 2003 and reloaded it. *Used a NEW disc of MSO SB 2003
and loaded that on instead thinking there might be a corrupt Word program
file. *AND I've even downloaded the MS updates and 2003 Service Pack but this
is still occurring. *
Can anyone help me this? *I am a transcriptionist and this is a HUGE
hinderance with regards to time.
Thank you.
