Default document layout changes when printing or opening in an older versi

It's not the version of Word causing the issue you see, it's the printer
driver. No two printers print the same. Since Word uses the current printer
driver to layout the document, in order to display the document in WYSIWIG
(What you see is what you get). Until we can force everyone to use the same
printer (which isn't likely grin) this will continue to occur. (Note that
this occurs in every word processing program.)

The the best solution to the issue you are encountering is to save you
documents as a PDF file and send it to others instead of your Word document.
If you are using Word 2007 PDF functionality can be added (if you don't know
how let us know and we'll help). For previous versions you may want to look
into obtaining a PDF creator, many of which are free.

I am putting together a cookbook and am trying to avoid haveing recipes
spill
over onto a different page. I get the layout the way I want, and it
changes
when I go to print or have someone else open it after emailing it to them.
It either adds lines or removes them. I have the margins set at 1.25"
left
and right and 1" top and bottom. I do have headers and page numbers. Can
anyone help me figure out how to make the program hold or "lock" the page
layout? page quantity or what ever you want to call it? I do not want
people
to have to fix the formating after I send it to thm.
