You shouldn't be encountering a message to enable them if the
document/template is in a trusted location. On the Developer tab, click
Macros. Do you see the macros you are looking for listed?
If you don't see the Developer tab, click the Office Button, click Word
Options, and in the Popular section, select "Show Developer tab in the
Ribbon".

Thanks for your reply. I am not encountering any message when I open the
document regarding macros, but I have checked it in the previous version
of
word and it is fine.
Thanks

If it is saved in your trusted locations then the macros should be
enabled.
Are you encountering a message that they are disabled?

Hi, I am trying to enable Macros in Word 07 from a 2003 document. I
have
changed the settings in the Trust Centre to enable macros, but it still
doesn't work. The document is from a trusted source, and is saved in my
trusted locations. I don't have administrator privileges on my PC.
I have been reading that I can only enable macros in the group
settings -
is
this correct? Any help appreciated, I am not very familiar with working
with
macros.
Thanks,
Rebecca
