Default Text orientation

In that case, however, you are not rotating (editable) text but a picture.

You can rotate text by using paste special, in the edit menu. Paste it as
a
picture then rotate, and copy over.

It has never been possible to rotate text 180 degrees in Word, just 90
degrees right or left. But see

Wasn't it possible with older versions of Word to rotate or flip text
so

that it was upside down? I cannot find how to rotate text in a table or
text
box anymore. Shall I re-install Word XP?
