Hi Leonard, After reading your original post again, I realize you are not
using Office. I don't know how Works handles clipart.
You are better off asking this in a Works newsgroup

i'm not that experienced in word 2002.
not sure where to find "picture manager"
can't locate the clipart folder either.
i figured if i could locate the clipart folder location, i could view
them in an explorer window.
any further input greatly appreciated.
thank you!

Vista doesn't create thumbnails for .wmf images. You can view them in
the Picture Manager however.
In the Picture Manager, Getting Started task pane, click *Add a new
picture shortcut* browse to the clipart folder.

using vista home premium, dell desktop, works 8.5 word 2002.
is there a way to view all the graphics at once that come with word
2002, in an explorer window, instead of "insertpictureclip art,
then input a subject in "search"
i cannot locate them.
thank you,
