The format for a business letter in general is something you should have
learned in your English or typing class (and Word does include a Letter
Wizard to help with that). The content is up to you; surely you can figure
out what you want to say: "X is the recipient of a college scholarship
presented by Y. Please find enclosed a check for $Z, to be applied to
his/her tuition."
