Default TOC appears correct until printed, then some entries gain anot

Have you updated the TOC (not just the page numbers but the whole thing)?

"The document contains no comments or tracked changes". When I toggle the
field codes on the lines are mess up, I get
{HYPERLINK /I "_Toc159905527"}1
{HYPERLINK /I "_Toc159905532"}3

What is the significance of the 1 and 3? The other lines don't have the
extra digit.

It almost sounds as if you're tracking changes, and deleted text is
printed
but not shown on screen. That would mean that if a page number in the TOC
changed from the original, both the old page number and the new would
print
side by side. Try selecting the TOC and then accepting changes in it.

I hope this helps.

they
look the same as the ones that do not gain the extra digit. Any ideas?
