I support a professor who grades papers digitally and leaves comments in the
document. This professor is concerned that some students will feel slighted
or mistreated if they see that she spent 3 hours on their paper versus a
student that she only spend 10 minutes on their paper. (Looking at the time
stamp of the first comment, and then looking at the time stamp of the last
comment).

Just out of curiosity... I find the time/date essential in my work. Why
would you want to remove it?
