Default Tracking changes

If you've really been accepting all of the changes--in the Review tab--then
they should be gone.

But, Word wants users to know when tracked changes are present, so it will
show them when the file is re-opened, even if you've set the view to Final
(in the Review tab).

Just to be clear... there's a big difference between the Final in the Review
tab and the Office - Prepare - Mark as Final option. They're entirely
different concepts.

You can Mark as Final a document, but if it still contains tracked changes
(which you've hidden using the dropdown tool in the Review tab), those
tracked changes will again be displayed when the document is reopened.

To solve your problem, use the tools in the Review tab to accept all changes
before you use the Mark as Final command. Otherwise, those tracked changes
will continue to show up.
