I'm not sure if I was unclear in my original post. *I am not trying to
format fonts. *I would like the document to remember which Outline
View headings are collapsed and which are expanded so that I can close
the document and get the same headings expanded/collapsed when I
reopen the document. *Am I missing something in your reponse?

I love using Outline View. *I can descend to any depth of detail when
organizing things. *However, I would like for the document to remember
exactly which headings are expanded, and which are collapsed. *When I
close the document, then open it again, I would like the same
expansions. *Is there a way to do this?
