Whatever you are seeing appears to be anchored to the header or footer and
therefore can be dealt with only when you're in that story. I'd be
interested to look at the document (or a small portion of it exhibiting the
problem) if you want to email it to me.

I have some paragraph marks that appear inthe middle of a paragraph that
