Indeed, sometimes it is easier to work with the field code(s) directly.

To display the full path of the file and not just the file name, you will
need to add the \p switch to the FILENAME field. You can create the
complete
field code through the UI or in the following way.
1. Type FILENAME \p
2. Select what you just typed.
3. Press Ctrl+F9 to add the special curly brackets.
4. Press F9 to update the field and display the result.
