Default writing text of html

In Word, you can insert hyperlinks via the Hyperlink dialog box (Ctrl+K).

Note that it's normal to lose the links if you are actually pasting as
plain text (= text with no formatting).

I have a page that has links and pictures and I'm trying to get
microsoft word to write the html for that so I can save it as text (e.g.
ahref="http://www.url.com"linked text/a) just copying and then
pasting as text simply dumps the links. I thought Word could do that,
but I'm having to laboriously write the html myself. I know it must be
able to be derived from the page with the links but I'm having no luck
finding a command or export option that will do this.
