I downloaded the trial version of Word 2003 which only gives you a certain #
of fonts. I then purchased the 2003 Student Edition and when I used the disc
to download, I did not get anymore fonts. I know that it should come with at
least 50 more fonts, part of the reason that I bought the Student Edition.
I thought the fonts were part of the Typical installation, but maybe
not. Anyway, go to Control Panel Add/Remove Programs, click the Word
(or Office) item, and click Change. Leave "Add or Remove Features"
selected and click Next. On the second page, check the box for "Choose
advanced customization" and click Next. Expand the Office Shared
Features icon. Click "Fonts" and select "Run from my computer", then
click Update.
Also, in Word, make sure a "real" printer driver is selected in the
Print dialog -- if you select something like the Generic Text driver,
Word will show only a few fonts
