Hi JC,
This quote from another post
(

--------
I have finally managed to locate the normal.doc file but it took a bit of
doing. I'm using office 2003 and for some reason when you open the templates
folder the files inside are still hidden even though I had checked the "view
all hidden files" radio button.
I had to go to the folder options and uncheck the "hide system files" so
that the search would show the normal.doc file.

"How do I change the number of pages when I open a Word doc.?" When
I open Word it automatically opens up with nine pages. I want to
change the setting so that when I open up Word, there will be one
page.
Thanks..........
