If you have "Picture placeholders" checked on the View tab of Tools |
Options, you won't see graphics in Normal view.

Hi there,
I'm using Word XP and cannot see the drawing I drew in the Print Layout
View
in Outline and Normal views.
I have read other posts on this matter but everyone's problem seems to
get resolved when they change the wrapping of their drawing, but that
doesn't seem to work for me.
In fact, when I change the wrapping of the drawing to 'inline with
text' I see in the Outline and Normal views, a white box in place of my
drawing with the exact dimensions as the drawing, which turns black
when I click on it.
And with other wrappings I see no trace of the image in those view.
I have tried these settings with and without the drawing canvas
circumscribing my drawing.
Any hints? Any thing else I could try?
Thanks everyone,
Amir
