Place your cursor at the end of page 3 and click on Insert - Break and then
choose Section Break Next Page. Make sure the text you want on page 4 is
just after this section break (you can click on View - Normal to see where
the break is and on View - Print Layout to see your document as you wouuld
usually). Click on View - Header and Footer and use the Header and Footers
Toolbar (see http://www.allaboutoffice.co.uk/wordheader.htm ) to move to the
section where you want to start your page numbering. Make sure the Same As
Previous is turned off, click the Same As Previous icon on the Headers and
Footers toolbar if these words are displayed above your header or footer. Go
to the footer and click on the Insert Page Number icon. Now click the Format
Page Numbers icon and set the numbering to start at 1. Click Close on the
Headers and Footers toolbar and you should now have the page numbering
starting at 1 on whichever page comes after the section break.
