First, turn off the automatic border lines in Word by clicking on Tools
| AutoCorrect Options | AutoFormat As You Type | uncheck the "Border
lines" box | OK. This step will prevent newly pasted text from
acquiring borders. Then select all of the text you just pasted in (not
just the one line or paragraph with the border) and remove the border
through Format | Borders and Shading. See
