Select the bulleted text, and click on Format | Paragraph | Spacing:
Befo 0 pt | Spacing: After: 12 pt | OK. Or maybe set the spacing
before to 6 pt and spacing after to 6 pt if that looks better to you.

Line spacing on the format toolbar adds a space between each line.
I just want a line space between bulletted items.
