Default Multiple Citations Formatting in Word 2007

I have found the answer if anyone is interested, it does support
multi-reference citations. Just clck within the citation field and add
another.

Im doing my thesis, and when I add more than one citation, it adds them as;
(Brown, 2000) (Jones, 2001) (Smith, 2002)

How do I change the format so it reads;
(Brown, 2000; Jones, 2001; Smith, 2002)?
I dont want to change the text to static text either
