Default Send to mail recipient

In Word 2007, when I try to send a document to a mail recipient through
Outlook Express (already logged in to one of my identities), Word crashes
with a fatal error. It allows me to select the recipient(s) (To, CC and BCC)
from my contact list, but it crashes when I click the Send button.

I recently upgraded from Word 2000. In that version, I used this feature to
send documents as email messages all the time and never had any problems.

Any suggestions? Thanks!
