Default TOC table of contents help

You must set up your headings so that they are numbered, in the number
format that you want. Instructions are available at
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numb...g20072010.html (outline
numbering for Word 2007 and later). Currently the site is having problems,
but there is an archived version of the article he

Note the unusual URL which you probably have to copy and paste into the
address bar of your web browser.

By the way, which version of Word are you using?

Hi,

Please see attached my header structure which must be automatically auto
numbered as is, for the user. My MS word is not bad but this is insane.

I cant get my TOC to update to the 3rd level and when i apply my header
style to each header my numbering system disappears.

whats going on ? please step by step for me. Cant find any downloadable
templates that i can just add my own copy.

thanks in advance.
