Default Numbering pages in Word 2007

This will not work because Word will still see the third page as an odd page
and will likely insert a blank odd page before page 2. If the outside sheet
is meant to be the cover, then the inside cover is not page 1; it is not
numbered. The first recto (right-hand) page must be page 1.

Hi Pam,

Insert a section break in the second page.. go to Page Layout Breaks
Section Break Next Page.
Then go to page 3. select the footer. in the Header & Footer Tools Tab,
select Page number Format Page number. Select the number format and in
Page
numbering select "start at" and specify 2.

Hope this helps...

I'm having a very difficult time gettng the page numbers to print out
correctly

I have a 16 page booklet - with the first page blank so that when it
prints
out and is folded, the type starts on the left side ... how do I make the
numbers start on the 3rd page but start with #2??
