Hyperlinks disappear when pasting from website
What do you see in the document, exactly? If you see something like {
HYPERLINK "http://www.microsoft.com" } just press Alt+F9 to hide field codes
(what you are seeing now) and redisplay field results (the hyperlink).

When pasting copied content from webpage, the hyperlinks are lost!
I used to be able to copy and paste without losing the hyperlinks.
