When you save a macro there is a dropdown list "Store macro in" . select all
documents (normal.dot) if you want that macro to be available for all
documents. Also remember when you want to run a macro using its dialog box
again there is a dropdown list that you must select an item that is the
correct location of your macro something like " All active templates and
documents" which is the default for the dropdown list.
