Default How do I change scattered text of certain color to another color

Yes, you can do this using the Replace dialog in Word.

1. First select some of the text in one of the colors you want to replace.

2. Go to Format | Font and look at Font Color. You'll need to click the
arrow on the dropdown to see whether one of the squares on the standard
palette is selected. If so, note which one. If not, select More Colors...,
choose the Custom tab, and note the RGB settings for the color that is
applied.

3. Repeat the process for the color you want to use to replace the existing
color.

4. Now open the Replace dialog (Ctrl+H). Click More to expand the dialog.

5. You will leave both the "Find what" and "Replace with" boxes empty. With
the insertion point in the "Find what" box, click Format, select Font, and
then go to the Color palette and either select the desired square or enter
the required RGB values for the color you want to replace. Under the empty
"Find what" box you'll see Format: Font color: followed by either the name
of a standard color or "Custom Color (RGB(x,x,x))," where the x's represent
the values you selected.

6. With the insertion point in the "Replace with" dialog, repeat the process
for the desired replacement color.

7. Click Replace All.

I have Word documents with tables of text in scattered various different
colors. In the process of changing computers, all my files were converted
to
Word Perfect files, which did not have as wide a color selection. I
installed Word on the new computer and all my files converted back to Word
docs. However, the colors stayed in the Word Perfect colors.

Is there any way I can somehow select all the text of a certain color and
change it all to a different color now (without having to select and
change
each word or phrase individually)?

Changing computers is such a nightmare!
