Thumbs up Answer: How do you put cubed or squared after a number

  1. Type the number you want to add the superscript to.
  2. Place your cursor where you want the superscript to appear.
  3. On the Home tab in the Ribbon, click on the Superscript button (it looks like an "x" with a raised "1").
  4. Type the superscript number or symbol you want to add (e.g. 3 for cubed or 2 for squared).

Alternatively, you can use keyboard shortcuts to add superscripts:

    - For a cubed symbol, type the number you want to cube, then press "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "=" (equals sign) on your keyboard. This will turn the number into a superscript and add the "3" symbol.
    - For a squared symbol, type the number you want to square, then press "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "2" on your keyboard. This will turn the number into a superscript and add the "2" symbol.
