The behavior before was wrong! She can right-click on the template if she
wants and select Open. The regular use for a template is to create new
documents, not to edit the template.

I have a user who used to double-click on a template file within Windows
Explorer and it would open allowing her to edit the template file
directly.
The template file got corrupt somehow which she corrected by over-writing
the corrupt file with a known good version. Now however when she
double-clicks on the template file within Windows Explorer it opens a
document, not the template. I know she can work around it by opening the
template appropriately via Word and choosing to open *.dot files. She is
requesting that get this file to behave as it did once before. Any ideas?
