Default Two-page view with odd-numbered pages on right

Enjoy it while you can. Partly because this feature was not easily
discoverable (and perhaps partly because it can be dangerous when discovered
by accident), there's been discussion of eliminating it in future versions.
I don't know what the upshot of that discussion was, however.

FWIW, if you have enabled either "Mirror margins" or "Different odd and
even," you will get facing pages in Print Preview, and you CAN edit in
Print
Preview (though this is not obvious; you have to turn off the

magnifier).

Is there a way to use the View..Print Layout with the Zoom set to Two

pages
but have the odd-numbered page on the right, not the left as it

defaults
to.
I would like to view the document as it would appear if bound.
