Default Disabling "Link to Previous"

Well, to begin with, you don't need to insert section breaks for this
purpose. Instead, check the box for "Different odd and even" on the Layout
tab of Page Setup. This will give you an Odd Page Header/Footer and an Even
Page Header/Footer; the two are completely independent of each other but (by
default) linked to their counterparts in the preceding and following
sections. If you still want different content in the various sections, this
can often be accomplished (without unlinking) by using a StyleRef field. See

Is there a way of permanently disabling the "Link to Previous" function so
it
does not link the new and previous sections each time a new section is
created? So far, I still need to keep clicking on "Link to Previous" right
after creating the new section and before changing the headers and footers
on
either side of the section break, which is time consuming when using
mirrored
pages with different headers/footers in the odd and even pages.

Thanx!
