In Word 2003 How do you extract/copy a picture to store in windowsXP
ordinary folder?

Im not sure how I did it but so far my efforts have produced a "scrap" which
opens up in a new word doc.Secondly I tried copying to my desktop which gave
a message to save the doc to active desktop (or something like that) and it
changed the appearance of my desktop with all icons in bold/permanently
highlighted (but no picture)!
