Hi Sam,

1) Two ways: (a) Open the File Save As dialog, click Tools in the
upper right corner, and click Web Options. OR (b) Open the Tools
Options dialog, go to the General tab, and click the Web Options
button at the bottom.

2) Someone else noticed recently that Stephen Lebans' template doesn't
contain the macros it needs. I haven't looked at it myself, but Graham
Mayor has some advice at
http://groups.google.com/group/micro...33745c2?hl=en&.

Thanks so far..

1) In word 2003 Where exactly is the "Web Options" to modify pic resolution
when saving as a web page?
2) The article refers to Lebans website which has a zip to extract pics with
same res as originals. In the zip is a .dot template and a .doc word
document. Both have the same gif pic but no instructions how to use.I tried
copying pics into the dot template and coping from there to an XP folder but
still get "scrap" files.

Sorry to be a bit thick, TIA

Sam

In Word 2003 How do you extract/copy a picture to store in windowsXP
ordinary folder?

Im not sure how I did it but so far my efforts have produced a "scrap"
which
opens up in a new word doc.Secondly I tried copying to my desktop which
gave
a message to save the doc to active desktop (or something like that) and
it
changed the appearance of my desktop with all icons in bold/permanently
highlighted (but no picture)!

Thanks for any insights

Sam
