Default "Password protected document"

Hi ?B?SkpPVEMyMw==?=,

It is the MS word 2002.

I take it, then, you're accessing the password dialog box through the "Security" selection in
the "Tools" icon at the top of the Save As dialog box? This is the same dialog box as under
Tools/Options/Security. In principle, there is no difference. However, speaking from personal
experience, I've always found it more reliable to assign the password via the Tools/Options
route, rather than over Save As.

What is the difference between the €œPassword protected to open a document€
from save as function and the €œencryption password protected document€ from
Tools ĂŻĆ’ options ĂŻĆ’ Security?

Which version of Word?
