Default Irregular Tab problem

Tony's in England, where it's past midnight, so I wouldn't expect anything
till tomorrow.

This is all starting to sound familiar - by going thru Help and changing
to points, it is much improved. My problem is that it is still not in
1/8's, which is what schoolteacher wife needs.

Maybe brother Jollans will chime in.

Thx as always.

There is a way to do it. IIRC, Word will accept 0.125 but represents it
as 0.13. But I believe the actual solution has to do with entering the
measurement in some other units (points perhaps?). Perhaps Tony Jollans
will come along with his explanation about how the internal measurements
are in twips and how that makes this work.

The default spacing appears to be 0.13
In order to get even intervals of 1/8 inch ( as the horizontal rules i
marked) it appears we need to get a third decimal precision. Not
obvious how to do that, however, that must be the basic default setting.

If I helped before it may have been by suggesting you reset the grid
interval (Draw | Grid on the Drawing toolbar).

Once again, the irregular tab monster has struck.

While the tab locations are usually at even 1/8 inch intervals,
suddenly, they are at strange intervals between the 1/8 in marks.
Been here, done that, but I forgot how to get them back to even 1/8
inch spaces. I'll save your replies this time.

Thx all (I think it was Suzanne B. that saved me last time - as
usual.)
