Default Seeing a different amounts of pages in the same Word document

Hi Martin,

Such a large difference is almost certainly due to the use of hard page breaks and/or styles with 'page break before'
characteristics, combined with the use of different printer drivers on the PCs concerned. To lay out a document, Word gets
information from the printer driver as to what the printer can do and adjusts everything to suit. Apparently, the page breaks suit
the designated pages for one PC/driver combo but not the other.

At work, I open a Word document and it is 41 pages long. My colleague
opens the same file from the same place on the network and they have
62 pages. Why could this be?

It's nothing to wo with the way view we have of Word. The doument I
open stops att Appendix 1 but the one my colleague opens goes on to
appendix 3.
