I have an alternative set of styles I use for short letters. They have
larger fonts, wider left and right indents, and more space before. They

applied by a macro attached to a custom toolbar button. (There is another
that does the opposite, shrinking the letter, and a third that restores my
starting styles.) It is a lot to set up initially but works well once it

is
set up. Of course it requires that all formatting be done through styles.

It
helps to have cascading styles.
