Hi ?B?R2VvZGZhdXN0?=,

How can I import an address list, approx. 60 addresses, that is typed as
follows:

John & Mary Jones
15 Maple St.
Anytown, MN 12345

into the Microsoft Address Book?

I am not into programming Excel.

The closest thing I know of to a "Microsoft Address Book" would be the
address book used by Outlook Express, which is part of Internet Explorer.
But I don't think you'd be posting in a WORD newsgroup for that.

Word doesn't have its own address book, but shares address books with any
application that can register them correctly. Outlook (NOT Express), that
is part of Office, is such an application. So you'd have to convert these
addresses to a format Outlook can understand. *.csv would certainly be a
possibility.

On Graham Mayor's website (www.gmayor.com) I believe you'll find an article
about how you can convert address blocks, such as you have, to a format
acceptable to Word's mail merge. Once you can get that far, it's a short
step to making the addresses acceptable to Outlook. I suggest you check
Graham's website, then follow up with any additional questions in the
word.mailmerge.fields newsgroup.
