Default Unusual Mail Merge Problem

I am having a rather strange problem with mail merge.
My company has a varied selection of PC's that we use, Dells and HPs. All
is fine except on the HP D530. On those models, when a user does a Merge to
Printer, the field shading prints with the merged data. On the other hand,
if a Merge to New Document is peformed, and that is printed, the shading does
not print. All the other models we use perform as they should.

Any thoughts on a possible cause would be greatly appreciated.
