Default Differences Between Auto Text to Building block

The "Building Blocks" feature includes AutoText and much more. Put
another way, AutoText entries are only one specific kind of Building
Block item.

On the Insert ribbon, choose Quick Parts and select Building Block
Organizer from the dropdown. In the organizer, look at the entries in
the Gallery column. Besides the AutoText entries, there are Cover
Pages, Equations, Headers, Footers, Page Numbers, etc.

Hello,
Is there a difference between the "Auto Text" and the Building Blocks"
Feature? or maybe the Building Block is the same as "Auto Text" only
with a new name in Office 2007?

Appriciate any help,
