What specific programs are using all capitals? (Obviously your browser
isn't affected.)
If it's just in Word, maybe the default paragraph in your Normal.dot
template has been formatted with the All Caps character format. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm for ways to
remove it.
