6 cm is about 2.54 inches? it sounds like you are using the wrong
measurement units?
There is also an issue with some older HP printer drivers that may be a
factor - see

I haven't actually touched the default page setup settings; or hadn't
until this problem started.
Most puzzling of all, this problem does not appear with the index
page.
