(Change to) normal view, then View | Footnotes (if your document does
not contain any footnotes, that should bring you the endnotes in a
second "frame" on the bottom).

Now, in the dropdown window there, chose the separator. In the area
below, you select the line and delete it. Same for continuation line.

Voilą.
