If you highlight an entire line by putting your cursor on the far left until
it turns int a right pointing arrow, then it can cause this problem. Try
using your mouse to highlight exactly what you want to change then make the
change. Also be carefule when using the mouse or the arrow as discribed
above. Because if you notice at the end of a lline when you highlight it
there is what looks like an extra space or two highlighted. I have found
that if you get rid of that in your highlighting then you will not encounter
any problems either. to do this after highlighting the text then hold down
the -Shift- key and use the -Left Arrow- key to space back with until you
have ONLY the text desired, highlighted. Then make your bold, or color
changes etc... and it should only do what you are waning to do.
