Hi Annie,

Topstudio's Easycrypto used the 'blowfish' encryption
system. If you know the password of the encrypted file
(be sure you use upper/lower case correctly)
you should be able to open it without having a separate
blowfish decryption software utility installed, but the
MS Word encryption engine uses a different method.
If you've copied the file to your hard drive then
been able to decrypt it with the password try
using File=Open in Word and the 'Recover Text...'
file type to see if you get anything readable.

The TopStudio website has closed down. I don't recall
if they were bought out or just quit, but you may want
to search for downloads for Blowfish decryption software.

I saved all my files (by luck) on my old computer before a power serge lost
everything, it was windows 98 on an old packard bell with word 2000, I now
have a new dell computer with windows xp using word 2003 - I have put my
dvdrw in with all my files on it - which has worked wonderfully but my cv was
encripted with topstudio encryption, I have tried using the word encryption
to unlock it but it wont work, I know my password that is not the problem,
its now finding the program to get in, I have tried the internet and
downloaded some programes non of which worked.

Is there any one who knows what am talking about to be able to help me, or
put me in touch which sone one what dose.

Many Thanks
Annie
